Principle

This is a static website. It sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or tracking services, loads no fonts or scripts from third-party servers, and contains no contact forms. The site itself collects and stores no personal data.

Server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When the site is accessed, Netlify processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time of the request, the file requested, browser type) in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). Because Netlify may also process data in the USA, a data processing agreement incorporating the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses is in place; details at netlify.com/privacy. The log files are deleted according to the provider’s retention periods.

If you write to me by email, I process your information to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Messages are deleted once they are no longer needed for that purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
